Critical: professionalism, responsiveness to inquiries Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with the moving company. The order was completed about 6 weeks before the move date via phone/WhatsApp. I received an email with the order listing only the furniture to be assembled. There was a lack of other furniture and the assembly of the lamps, which we addressed both by phone and by WhatsApp message. So I called the representative again and he assured me that everything would be taken care of as requested. On the day of the move, we waited within the specified time frame of 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. At 9 we called the company because nobody came. We were assured that the colleagues were on their way. At around 10 we called again and were referred to the manager, who we reached after several attempts. He forgot our assignment. So no one came to the moving date. He apologized several times and seemed genuinely shocked that he had forgotten the appointment. A day later the furniture porters came and did their job very, very well. They were friendly, fast and reliable. For them I would give 5 stars. Unfortunately, the lamp assembly was lost and the workers had no tools with them. So I called all the bosses and their deputies again. The latter wanted to get in touch as soon as he was in the office. Unfortunately that never happened. Other calls and messages were also ignored. A really unpleasant experience when you depend on the move to work. I cannot recommend the company because of the organization.

On July 28th, 2015 my move took place within Dresden and I hired the moving company Rene Hoffmann to do it.

In the beginning it was actually pretty good. It started on time and progressed quickly.

In the end, the work was very imprecise and partial work, such as attaching the shower device, was simply left out.

Shortly after the men left, my son and I noticed various damage to furniture. A folding table broke and the glass of a kitchen cupboard cracked.

I then immediately called the moving company and reported the damage.

I was promised a settlement of claims several times by phone and email. To this day I am waiting for it ..

This moving company brought a lot of relaxation into the moving day for us. We would hire it again and again because

1. The coordination with Mr. R Hofmann in advance was pleasant and uncomplicated
2. Sufficient furniture carriers were on site punctually on the day of the move
3. The moving "guys" appeared as a team the entire time and worked hand-in-hand
4. Have carried / loaded / transported EVERYONE very carefully
5. Sensitive pieces of furniture were specially packed in blankets and stretch film
6. Have a good mood by the time the last piece of furniture was set up, which is extremely pleasant on a day like this
7. As an example of the good atmosphere: the harmonica man who, while jumping up the stairs again, took his harmonica from the windowsill in the stairwell and played a little melody

I can only recommend this company! Very friendly, very professional, special requests are dealt with immediately and very inexpensive. We are completely satisfied! The company also packed our things, everything was super packed, nothing was broken or damaged, the boxes were labeled. The transport was on time and went very well. Since not all things fit in our new apartment, the company also took care of the disposal of the leftover furniture. The moving company employees were a good team and always very friendly. Our wishes were always taken into account.

I had previously tel. Contacted me and informed me about the process. The decisive factor for his company was the friendly nature of the conversation and the offer on his part. His team was there on time on the day of the move, and the loading process was quick and professional. The large cupboard was expertly dismantled and later rebuilt. The whole thing happened in a friendly atmosphere. A small "downer" remained, however: I was promised by an employee to get a replacement for the broken cupboard leg. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

It was my job to organize my 81 year old mother's move. When comparing the offers of several moving companies based in Dresden, my choice quickly fell on the Dresden moving service R. Hofmann. The services we expected were offered to us at a price that was justified and acceptable to us. Our move consisted of moving goods and 23 boxes and, above all, a large part of disposal. Especially in the second item, "disposal", there were larger price fluctuations in the offer compared to other companies. Another plus: the moving boxes were given to us on loan free of charge.
To do it yourself on the day of the move, May 24th, 2016: Very friendly, empathic employees, hard-working, very neat execution. We also responded flexibly to unforeseen events that we could not plan because we had not been informed about them by the property management (due to construction work at the move-in location, the access in the stairwell to the apartment changed shortly before moving in). Nothing is damaged or soiled from the removal goods.
I would recommend the Dresden Moving Service at any time!

On March 18 In 2017 we moved with the moving service R. Hofmann Dresden. The employees were punctual and in a good mood. We had already prepared everything and packed the furniture, which we were very happy about. The furniture was quickly and competently loaded and transported to the new apartment, which was only 8 km away. There everything went quickly to the 3rd floor. All in all a brilliant move and we were very happy to have found such a good moving service at such short notice. It must be said that we only had the idea about 2 weeks beforehand not to transport the furniture ourselves. This was not a problem for Mr. Hofmann. After a super quick email contact he came over and looked at everything, gave the price and Zack we had one less worry. Very nice and there is not long talk which we found very pleasant. Great price-performance ratio, we transported boxes and small things ourselves in advance and "only" had to make the furniture. Absolute recommendation and thank you very much again.

We are on the 26./27. April 2017 moved from Bad Gottleuba to Dresden-Pieschen. The challenge was to move furniture and plants from a 117 square meter to an 89 square meter apartment. The three very friendly employees at the loading station were able to remember all the special features immediately and carried out them accordingly. We were then able to make our way to the new apartment with a clear conscience to make preparations there. A day later, at the new apartment, another colleague was on the team, everything went smoothly like a Swiss clock. The men were very well coordinated with one another. They always seemed routine and professional and always had a nice and encouraging word ready, which was good, since we were a little exhausted from the excitement that always comes with moving. Despite heavy rain at the loading station, all furniture was completely undamaged! The dishes and glasses were also packed well. Packaging was minimalist, but fully served its purpose! Even "special requests" were implemented and fulfilled with a lot of creativity. A day later even a very large, approx. 300 kg heavy plant in the pot, which could not be lifted at first, was transported from the old apartment to the new one with another strong man! Unsurpassable price-performance ratio !! The only small point of criticism: Mr. Hofmann had not visited our old apartment because he had only given a possible date for the inspection that we could not keep. So everything was done using a parts list that we had previously created and additional assembly costs were due that were not listed in the cost estimate. An appointment to view the site definitely makes sense! Thanks again to the great team and keep it up !!

Mr. R. Hofmann visited my apartment and we agreed on a fixed price and damage insurance. My move took place on May 2nd and 3rd, 2017. Punctually at 8:30 a.m. on May 2nd, 2017, two employees of the moving company came and dismantled my kitchen. This was only partially rebuilt in the new apartment, as the new worktops first had to be remade. It was agreed that this should take place with a complete kitchen construction in the following week. On May 3rd, 2017 the remaining furniture was to be dismantled from the old apartment and rebuilt in the apartment. Five employees from the moving company arrived punctually and full of energy. The vigor, however, quickly waned from hour to hour. My furniture was dismantled carelessly and some wall units broke and in the bedroom an angle that is necessary to hold the slatted frame disappeared, the conversion of the refrigerator, which was screwed to the wall, was ruthlessly torn out. A board for a shelf is still gone today. I broke through with my bed the first night. It took a total of four weeks to make the countertops and the kitchen was only built after I begged and called several times. Although the contract was supposed to set up and connect the entire kitchen, I still had to order a company to connect the stove to me. I immediately informed Mr. Hofmann of the damage to my furniture. We had made an appointment. To date, I haven't received a penny for the damage. He has neither reported nor seen. Such a moving company cannot be recommended under any circumstances.
